Sandinista Heads Into Second Half 1-11

CHICAGO (February 7, 2005) /DHC Wire/ -- After being shut out in the last three matches, Team Sandinista moves into the second half of the season with a dismal record of 1 and 11. Things don't look good for improvement tomorrow as they go up against the second place team, White Space.

"We nearly beat Typhoon last season, and this time they killed us," said Mike Macias. "If we can't beat them, we're going to get our asses kicked and handed back to us on a platter by White Space."

The defeat last week against Typhoon was particularly bitter. Spectators looking for a sign as to how demoralized Sandinista was needed look no further than the last time out, when instead of breaking on the team's name, the call of "one, two three, Beer!" rang out.

"It's not looking good for the Sandinista organization," said Andrew Huff. "The way things have gone this season, we're not sure whether we'll make it to the next one."

Sandinista plays Tuesday night at 9 p.m. at the Windy City Field House.
